Switch from Monarch, and keep your history

Kemback reads Monarch's transactions download directly: every account, transaction, category, tag and note, with transfers and card payments linked, and a budget built from it.

How the switch works

  1. Download your transactions. In Monarch on the web, go to Settings → Data and choose Download transactions. One file holds every account.
  2. Create your free Kemback account and choose Switch from Monarch.
  3. Enter each account's balance today. The download has no balances, so Kemback asks once and sets each account's opening balance to match.
  4. Bring it across. Transfers and card payments between your accounts are linked, even a few days apart. Tags and notes stay with their transactions.
  5. Get a budget from your history, and add your bills.

Can I share it with my partner?

Is it free?

Yes. Switching, budgets, bills, alerts and the weekly summary are all on the Free plan.
