Mint closed. Your history doesn't have to go with it.
Kemback reads Mint's transactions export directly: every account, transaction, category and label, with transfers and card payments linked, and a budget built from it.
How the switch works
- Find your Mint export. It's usually called transactions.csv: look in your downloads, or an email you sent yourself before Mint closed.
- Create your free Kemback account and choose Switch from Mint.
- Enter each account's balance today. Mint's export has no balances, so Kemback asks once and sets each account's opening balance to match.
- Bring it across. Transfers between your accounts and card payments are linked, even a few days apart. Labels become tags; notes stay with their transactions.
- Get your budget back: Kemback suggests one from your Mint history, with the bars that turn amber and red that Mint users miss.

Questions about switching from Mint
Mint has closed. Can I still use my old Mint data?
Yes, if you saved Mint's transactions export (usually transactions.csv). Kemback reads it directly: every account, transaction, category and label.
What about my balances?
Mint's export has no balances, so Kemback asks for each account's balance today and works out the rest.
Are transfers and card payments matched up?
Yes. Transfers between your accounts and credit card payments are linked, even when the two sides are a few days apart.
Will I get a budget like Mint's?
Yes. Kemback can suggest a budget from your Mint history, and shows each category as a bar that turns amber and red, as Mint's did.
Is it free?
Yes. Switching, budgets, bills, alerts and the weekly summary are all on the Free plan.
